Sabor de Vida Brazilian Grill is one the few Brazilian places that I’ve been to that’s not AYCE…and that’s a good thing. We decided to try this place for lunch this past weekend. The beef sliders were very good. The patties were marinated with some great spices adding flavor to an otherwise boring dish.
The Feijoada is supposedly a popular Brazilian dish and only served on the weekends so we had to try it! The beef and smoked sausage is cooked in black beans and served with rice, collard greens, and farofa which is a toasted flour mixture that you can sprinkle on your food. Overall the dish was kind of bland and looked better than it tasted.
The tri-tip plate has, of course, grilled tri-tip, beef sausage, black beans, rice, and grilled veggies. The meat had a nice marinade but the beef sausage was very salty. Maybe we’ll give this another try sometime but overall the food was just okay and a little pricey.
